About Me

I am a print and audio journalist currently pursuing a Masters degree at New York University's Literary Reportage program. My work appears in the New York Times, GEN Magazine, Sojourners, NYMag Bedford + Bowery, and elsewhere. In 2018, I completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Malaysian Borneo, where I learned to love spicy laksa and cohabitate with tarantulas. My essay "To the Swimmer in the Borneo Rainforest" is anthologized in Best American Travel Writing.

When I'm not writing, I love backcountry camping, hot yoga, and running my book review Instagram @LitBits.
